I would recommend the new 4 port hub from LACIE. The hub I have don’t have a name or even a model number and my first two didn’t work so I wouldn’t recommend it anyway. Anyway I also got some no name USB 3.0 hub from a local cheap electronics store. In fact I don’t think 4x is enough for full support but it is enough for my applications. Most of the cards are 1X slots and that simply isn’t enough bandwidth for USB 3.0. Also it is only supposed to work on ASUS motherboards but most of the P55 motherboards are almost all the same and I heard it might work so I tried it out because at the time (4-5 months ago) it was the only 4X card slot for USB. It requires a 4x PCIe slot (I have three 16x slots so this wansn’t a problem for me but it might be for you). I didn’t want to sift through the whole usb 3.0 spec so I just ordered an addon card for my MSI motherboard that had usb and SATA 6GBps. I had read on a couple of forums that it was true though I couldn’t find any documentation to justify.
